The Royal Westmoreland Golf Club

Rated number 31 in Golf Digest's Top 100 Golf Courses Outside the USA. Designed by renowned architect Robert Trent Jones Jr., the Par 72, 7045 yards of this course are sure to test golfers of every ability, ensuring use of every club in the bag. Considerable features have been made of the natural environment with the 5th and 6th holes exploiting a disused coral stone quarry and the 12th Par 3 challenging the lowest of handicaps with its tight green bordering a ravine. Bunkers abound throughout the course; each hole offers several tees to accommodate every level of play and crystal blue Caribbean Sea views shimmer from every green. Expect to pay top prices for the experience though.

The Sandy Lane Resort and Golf Club

Features three courses, and has become a premiere golfing destination (but be warned – it is also expensive!) The two 18-hole courses at Sandy Lane are the Country Club and the Green Monkey, both designed by Tom Fazio, a premiere golf course architect. The Country Club is a par 74.7 championship course, which features challenging holes and beautiful ocean views. The Green Monkey, so named for the Bajan green monkeys that are prevalent throughout the island and the course, opened in 2004 and quickly became one of the best courses on the island.

Apes Hill Golf Club

This championship golf course was officially opened in December 2009. With lush pastureland, coral stone quarries, wooded ravines and sparkling lakes the course is as much in accord with its varied surroundings as it is an exciting challenge for golfers. Multiple trees, elevated to showcase its breathtaking West and East coast views, allow players of all capabilities equal opportunity for a satisfying game.

Barbados Golf Club

On the southern coast of Barbados (and only 25 minutes from the St James). First designed by Col. J. Harris in 1974, and renovated in 2000 by renowned golf course architect Ron Kirby. The par 72, 6,805 yard course was honoured by being selected to host the PGA Seniors Tournament in 2003.

The St James is a partner of the Barbados Golf Club and our guests can enjoy a discount at the club. It represents great value for money.
